I ended up just tossing them in the tool box with all the other loose tools.

I never was charged for Delivery but for some reason for this item they do.
I picked up the Makita XPS 60 from Home Depot the 1st day on the previous deal. I ordered the Makita XPS 60 from Amazon the same day as I picked up from Home Depot (since it has been automatically price-matched since then, not just recently). Amazon order still hasn't shipped.
I am going to see whether the Amazon ones are old stock with the more durable case and the magnet attachment or new stock with the partial clear case and missing the magnet attachment. If they are all new stock, will return the Amazon ones because there was CB on the Home Depot ones.
I am surprised HD sold out of in store inventory. They had like 22 in every store when I picked up and now it is only available for delivery.
The point about reemphasizing Home Depot is Amazon lead time is quite long with their free shipping. I've had stuff Amazon just decides to cancel on their own if their inventory doesn't get updated in a timely manner, so you wait around thinking free shipping just have to wait and then a month later they disappoint you and then you call and beg customer service for some credit. I am sure many have gone through the latter before.

I hear ya on Amazon. I've had things get lost in transit or start from my state only to get sorted incorrectly and make its way across the country then back to my state again. Past few years the service has gone downhill.
