You have to run wire for PoE/communication and decide how and where you're storing recording. Functionality wise these are much better.

I have Arlo and am moving away as well, because subscriptions and being welcomed to an advertisement every time I open the app is an immediate bye bye for me.

Have this camera. Wide view captures 4k and zoom does 1080p. FPS is 20 and 15 respectively during the day according to Blue Iris.

H.265 but not H.265+ compression. Otherwise good. Still much better than H.264.

Knowing their advertising track record, it's probably 4k total, 2k per lens.

Your router needs to have power over ethernet supplied or you need to have a network switch with power over ethernet ports

ooh good to know it works with BI! that means it should be compat with my Amcrest NVR.
can you control the light via BI, or is that something you config using the reolink app?

You can control the light via BI as well as Home Assistant if you have the recent updates. This model also works with their POE floodlights so you can sync them together based on motion rules.
