I would not buy any dress clothes from Macy's, unless it's casual use. I've bought shirts and suits and these have wrinkled up from ironing and heat and the suit elbows have holes in them. Rather spend more money on something that will last unless you rarely wear these types of clothes.

If you desire to wear the suit at any type of nice occasion, whether it be a wedding or a job interview, then I would highly suggest spending the extra money. If you need a suit now and you only have $100 to spend, then that is fine, but it is absolutely worth spending the extra money and having it last a while.

I have polyester suits from the Alfani brand at Macy's they fit and look good. I'm not suit expert but I have gotten compliments on those suits.
