These are ok but glide are gentler on your gums. These are a bit sharper by comparison. As commentators mentioned — yes, the double versions are better.
I agree these are not bad, but to be gentler on your teeth and gums the Glide are better and it MIGHT mean a few extra swoops but can translate to less gum bleeds. Something is of course better than nothing but I was told to at least use the classic string-kind at least once a week to get what these kind may miss.
The individual are GREAT for stowing away for work, travel, and purses. Place a small handful in a snack-ziplock to keep em clean and you'll be solidly covered for those "crap, something in my teeth" moments.

For me, I would rather just use my fingers to hold some floss. You can put the equivalent of a whole bag of these flossers in your pocket in one box of glide floss.
