Been using Sub70 699 Pros for a couple years now and I'd recommend Sub70 to anyone. Friendliest and best customer service and a very good product.
My buddy has been big on them for awhile, he has the irons too and shares your sentiments. I just bought 3 wood and 4 hybrid for $224 out the door. Excited!
I bought some of their irons this year after going to their studio for a free fitting. Hitting them great and got my first hole in one last week. Recommended!
Seems pretty pricey for used irons that don't even come with a fitting session. The most important aspect of finding irons is getting fit. Playing a fitted iron that's 20 years old is better than playing anything straight off the shelf.

If I were to get back into golf which set to get?
I would find a used set, or get bombtechs, so you aren't spending a ton. After that first year, i would reevaluate what you really want.
There is always a coupon code somewhere for bombtechs. https://www.bombtechgolf.com/
Callawaypreowned is the way to go. Great sets for really good prices. Their "good" rating is basically <10 rounds and their excellent or like new is exactly that.
Not only that but you can find many more stiffness options as well as customizable options for used clubs. Which is a huge advantage vs buying used off the shelf stuff.
Honestly a little confused on the deal, seems like you can get their stuff brand new for super reasonable prices, but then on the pre owned page there's all sorts of confusing price nonsense, like listing the drivers at 400/500 when they sell new for 280?
I'm probably just misunderstanding the site

I reccomend getting cobra golf ONE Length irons for the new or returning player. Every club is your 7 iron (length wise) I am new to golf. I'm not great, but it helps to only have to work on one swing type. (AREOjet MAX Driver has been great as well) warning.. it is a bit pricey. I reccomend ebay for both.

Why don't you list some examples instead of insinuating "$0."
