The 4000 series (Wirecutter Top Rated) is on sale at Costco for $1399 for the washer/dryer pair, or $700 each, including installation, haul away and basic parts.

Agreed! Can't afford pricing nowadays
Our old LG 4.2 cu. ft. WM2501HWA lasted us 15 years. So we looked for replacement and this is the only one available, with Costco Delivery, Installation and Haul Away it may worth it.

Anyone seen good deals on dryers? My drum stopped turning unless I spin it by hand first. Think the belt broke or something. Rather than pay to fix it might just be worthwhile getting a newer unit.

I just replaced a belt myself for the first time and it was pretty easy. We have a top loading kenmore from 2015. I'm not a mechanically inclined person either. The only hard part for me was getting on the belt without removing the motor.
