Though once loved, most Chipotles have fallen off in quality. Corporate mandates tiny burritos now, half the size as before, but still $10+. Customers are viewed as the enemy. Serious problems with morale and keeping employees. Corporate customer service is handled by AI, not a real person.
I'm surprised to read comments like chipotle locations becoming ghost towns post Covid. My closest one in a suburb of Atlanta has lines 15 to 30 deep. Now their order fulfillment speed is horrible. I've waited 30+ minutes after promised pickup time for my orders on several occasions. It's so common in fact that the ceo commented on it during the last earnings call, I believe.

I have found that if you order in the app, which I assume you are taking about, just complain about it taking 30 minutes and you'll get refunded pretty easily. You'll still wait 30 minutes, but at least it's a free meal.
Last week I went with a date to our local Chipotle and we got the fully loaded nachos to share. But she kept eating all the fully loaded ones, you know the ones with the meat and cheese and stuff. I was pretty much getting just chips, I mean like JUST CHIPS. Maybe like one little nugget of meat. Asked the manager if he could het her to stop and he was resistant.
Guys, the reason you checkout and dont see the $10 card is that you DID NOT choose a "graduation theme" giftcard. The detail OP forgot to mention.
AND you need to send it to another email with message filled out etc.
Chipotle is so hit or miss over the past few years. When the first opened and starting expanding, I feel they had a good thing going. Food was good and plentiful, stores were clean. Things have gone down hill and when I go to to a store they are usually pretty dirty. No forks, no lids, out of ice, etc. basic stuff that isn't working.

It looks like they automatically added the $10 card to my chipotle account, but they deleted the gift card I already had in there to do it. I don't have that gift card anymore to re-add it.
I ordered.. it will be interesting to see if it's added as well.. i just did a screenshot of my current gift card so thanks for heads up

I just wish they fix their gift card system to allow you to add more than one gift card like every other business.
@Chipotle, LMK when you're ready to make real-sized burritos again

Edit: I just got an email with the $10. My gift card that I had must have only had $10 left.
