Though once loved, most Chipotles have fallen off in quality. Corporate mandates tiny burritos now, half the size as before, but still $10+. Customers are viewed as the enemy. Serious problems with morale and keeping employees. Corporate customer service is handled by AI, not a real person.
Anyone actually get the 10$ bonus yet? I ordered a graduation themed GC but selected it's for me option. My check out shows the bonus but I haven't received the bonus. Just the GC
Received an email confirmation showing a bonus card with the purchase.... but only a $40 gift card was sent. No bonus $10 card yet.. been 4 hours now..
For those saying dead, it seems to work only on specific gift card designs. I picked a design and it didn't work and then I went to the design that hard worked previously and it worked.
I'm surprised to read comments like chipotle locations becoming ghost towns post Covid. My closest one in a suburb of Atlanta has lines 15 to 30 deep. Now their order fulfillment speed is horrible. I've waited 30+ minutes after promised pickup time for my orders on several occasions. It's so common in fact that the ceo commented on it during the last earnings call, I believe.
CEO spinning this as demand is expected. Understaffing and undertraining is the problem. Reaction by employees creates a bad attitude toward customers. Just need to see the real comments by new employees and outgoing employees. Complete apathy unless located in an oasis.
These are not franchises, so the CEO is to blame. CEO Brian Niccol made $17.2 million in 2022 and $17.9 million in 2021. At the height of COVID he took $38 million in 2020. His formula was a global pandemic + rising costs + smaller portions + online ordering + understaffing = personal financial success!

Appeared to successfully order, received a receipt showing both $40 GC and $10 bonus. But then 2 minutes later received this BS. Whoever writes this trash needs to be fired. Your poorly designed fraud detection is protecting me from buying something that I want. Give me a break.
