I thought this was a good price even for for the $175 they had it fir recently. But FYI, I got mine from this site and it was in pretty rough shape. The metal bars that touch the ground were pretty scratched up, with parts missing paint. The fabric part was kind off gross too. I'll lice with it since it was about 50% off msrp shipped

Is this ok or is there a better setup out there? Some good stuff on FB Marketplace but they are all over the place in pricing.

Last time this was posted, people talked about flimsiness and wobbles. It looks cheaply made from thin materials. Similar to camping chairs , but even those look stronger. I think you're far better off building your own durability and price wise.

I got mine in good condition 2nd hand. The are few detents for seat bottom and back angle. I found a good, but not great seating position. It's fine for a half hour race, but not ideal for 90+ minutes straight, maybe because my torso and thighs are short? Probably just have to buy it and hope your body size fits one of the seat angle detents.
The wheel base only opens to drivers left, which is not ideal for the spot in the room this sits, otherwise I would use the chair for other non racing uses.

Copying my update from the other deal for the F-GTlite:

Mine arrived today and was basically brand new, the only scratch I could find was on the underside of the pedal plate and it's tiny. I must have been lucky.

It's no where near as nice as my GTTrack but I wouldn't expect it to be. This is nice for the price, more solid set ups get super expensive after these.

It also folds up really tight which is perfect for my needs.

Wouldn't recommend, but a good starter option is the next level wheel stand v2 is really sturdy, yeah, $100 more, but for the added rigidity, it's well worth the cost. Then you can add the seat later and convert to a full cockpit with heavy gauge steel. Just speaking from my experience with these cheap, flimsy seats/wheel monts

My butt goes numb quite quickly in this sim rig. I would not recommend.

I bought one of these over a year ago. It may look cheap but it holds up to my weight (250lbs) just fine. Just make sure everything is secured and tight. My one issue with it is that there is not support and it gets uncomfortable after 30mins. I usually throw a pillow for my lower back to make it better. It also comes with a plate for your shifter to mount on but that plate itself is annoying to install/remove when you need to move the chair to another room.

THIS plus if it's already been used or repaired might make this deal not so great. I know when I first got my wheel and pedals I thought I could just hook it on the coffee table. I realized how wrong I was in less than 5 minutes. These things need to be hooked to something strong. I'm going to hold out for something that looks like it's built well.

For the time being my setup is ghetto. It's easy if you already have a desk with just a metal frame or maybe a wood desk if it's solid and the top hangs over front and back.-I took the glass off the top of a metal frame desk and got plywood cut to fit with 8 forty pound clips holding it on and the wheel hooked to the plywood. If anything breaks it'll be the chair. It's rock solid but it's at a fixed height, the pedal room is limited and I'm not sure if a hand brake would fit.

I'm only interested in this because the portability may be nice to take places much easier. I have a different setup that isn't super sturdy either that I eventually plan to upgrade completely as well. But damn the nice setups are expensive.

I have this racing seat. I like mine. I did have to add a gel seat cushion and can sit in it comfortably for hours.

It works really well for me, and I paid a lot more the $150 for mine. I recommend it if you want something that doesn't empty the bank account and works well once you get it set up the way you like.

Here's a seat cushion on amazon similar to the one I'm using:

I have this and paid full price 4yrs ago to replace the Playseats similar folding one. I like this one better. I added a cheap car seat padded cushion from Walmart (SD) deal for about $10 and I play 3-4 hours in it no issues using TR300 wheel setup. People who assume it will wobble, I'm about 5'8" and 170lbs and it doesn't wobble at all.

Putting it together was a little more involved than YT video shows. I can't rem the exact step, but I think it had to do with stretching the material over a certain part of the frame?

My experience has been the polar opposite. Fast shipping (3 days) and the item appears like-new. The only thing that gives away that it's a refurb is the fact that some parts which would normally require assembly are already in place. No scratches, dents, scuffs. Having said that, the overall rig is sturdier than expected. Running a Thrustmaster T300GT which fits perfectly. The cons are: No lumbar support (easily fixable with a lumbar pillow or a folded blanket. Secondly, the bar under my thighs (front of sear, under wheel) tends to dig into my hamstrings a bit even though it's well cushioned. Final thoughts, at this price and assuming your purchase is in a condition similar to mine, this is a helluva steal. I would go for it if I were you. Worst case you sell it for 175/200 on FB marketplace easily.
