I've been trying to sell my 1Up's on offer up and it's a hard sell. Shipping costs a lot and no one wants to buy these over $300ish new. Used is less. Just know that these don't retain their value as their new deluxe form factors are slowly being released this year. And warranty parts are hard to come by as they stopped making these legacy cabinets. Goodluck

Just a heads up on all these Arcade1Up systems, they're smaller than your average arcade game. My buddy has Killer Instinct and honestly it's too small for two grown men to play together. Literally could we? Sure. And we don't mind touching shoulders, but even still you'd have to stand slightly to the side.

If you want to get into arcade games, my advice would be to buy a full size cabinet and then Raspberry Pi it or similar.

I keep wondering at what price point I get one of these for the office. Not $379, probably not $299. Maybe $199?

I post this on SD all the time and get downvoted hard.

Honestly, these arcades are a waste of money, space and environmnetally unfriendly.
Better to get LaunchBox or BigBox and a small computer.

We have 3 arcade 1 ups and we tend to mostly use this during holidays. That being said, they are fun if you get the games you enjoy. I bought the golden axe when it was on sale and I still love it once per week or so.

$75 was my buy price on the 1st wave of cabinets. That's all they're worth.

Honestly thats about right. A busy of mine has NBA jam and blitz and I couldn't get over how tiny they are. They're neat, but I would NOT spend over 200

I never paid over 175 for one… was able to sell all three for 500, bought a legends ultimate and never looked back… these always looked kids toys next to the legends ultimate, which was very recently only 300 for a couple of days

Why would you name this Shinkuu Hadouken when no games even have a proper Shinkuu?

If it had an Alpha game and a III version it would make sense

When it comes to Capcom games so far Arcade1up kinda has the monopoly. Yes you can get SF2 on the Legends but the ratio is off. There is great information out there about soft modding this cabinet. It is very easy to add multiple A1UP cabinets on here as well as 100s of other games.

There were two different cabinets that came out with the exact same games and different styles. The Shinku Hadoken just refers to the style of the cabinet. The other one was called Yoga Flame. This is the "rarer" of the two due to it's distribution channels. In addition you can easily mod this to include multiple A1UP cabinets including Marvel vs. Capcom with plenty of Shinku Hadokens Smilie

This cabinet runs on Android like a lot of the newer A1UP cabinets. Here's what can be done with a simple soft mod.

Is Legends Ultimate a proper full size arcade machine?
