These are terrible. They don't toast the English muffin. You already have a pan and a toaster. Use that, saves time and the result is much better.
Edit #2, it doesn't cook the breakfast meat either. They're trash.

Can confirm. Doesn't get hot enough to get a decent toast. You're better off using pans that you already have

We had one in our break room and it was convenient where a stove and pans weren't available. Also, allowed you to cook your breakfast on the companies time instead of waking up earlier!

I have one and have no problem with it. I will agree about the breakfast meat. I will heat mine up in the microwave first while the thing is heating up. Spray with Pam or Butter and your muffin will get toasted.

I have the dual version of this and love it. Makes a poor man's Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich from Jack in the Box. Takes a bit of effort to assemble all the ingredients but the results are good.

I think it's great and use it almost daily. Here is my typical arrangement: preheat five minutes then add English muffin bottom with American cheese, then slide plate over, then spray some oil, add egg (with broken yolk to cook faster) and top with salt and pepper and Trader Joes circular ham (Canadian bacon?) then top of English muffin, close lid and wait four mins.

I think this would be good in the break room. Does anyone know if it's allowed in the dorms?

Walmart breakfast sausage, the round ones, in the frozen section fits perfectly in this. You'll thank me for the many trials and many errors with every available frozen sausage later.

One of those things that looks great on paper until you realize it will take 5 times the time / effort to clean than doing it the old fashion way would have. Also if you need to make two sandwiches then either you are eating 10 minutes apart or one person is eating cold food.

These things are great. Just replaced mine after 6 years of use due to the Teflon flaking off. Not sure why others have issues with the muffin not toasting, I usually put mine in for 6 minutes and end up with a toasted muffin...

The rings are dishwasher safe and the top and bottom heating elements you just wipe off with a damp paper towel. Not hard to clean at all.

We have one and I like it. Yes, if making for more than one person, someone is eating while someone is waiting, you can only do one at a time. I used the pre-cooked sausage patties, keep it frozen, then thaw it out in the microwave first. 4 minutes and you get a decent home made mcmuffin. Plus you can put whatever veggie substitute you want in... wifey might like hers sometimes with a garden/veggie burger patty, going to have to try that.

I have also read about people using these in dorms or hotels since they are small and portable... and really it can cook whatever you put in there. I've read about people making brownies and cookies in the thing.

Yeah you can buy a silicone egg ring and do all this manually on the stove + a toaster. But this, you just throw it in there and set a timer.

Pretty easy to clean.

So if you're feeding a family you might consider getting more than one, or getting the double unit.

I bought one of these probably a long time ago. I've easily made a thousand sandwiches with it, I've even taken it with me in my carry on while traveling. It's one of my favorite Slickdeals purchases.

I've had one for years. Great for fast, portable, warm breakfast. It's downsides have easy work-arounds:

Big cons:
Doesn't toast bread. Just use your toaster beforehand.
Sandwiches are small. I have the double and make 2

Big Pro: takes <10 minutes and you can walk away, do other stuff during. It includes a loud timer so you don't get distracted. Great for quick mornings before work or long workout
