Better paddles for just $1 more, at $27.99 the niupipo has carbon graphite face instead of fiberglass face for more ridgid hitting surface. How much difference, who knows, it's still only pickleball but just thought I'd mention the better bang for the buck. Even if the graphics are hilariously questionable.

Have used these paddles for couple of years now. They are pretty decent for beginners to intermediate level. Needless to say, included balls are pretty bad for indoor or outdoor usage. Paid $15 back in September 2021.

Crucial to get USAPA approved set when you are competing on the Ocho.

These are great if you want to try the game. If you want to play in any competitive capacity, I would look further in the $100-200 range. There is a huge tier jump between beginner paddles and intermediate.

For both paddles and the balls?

Yes for both (assuming the question is about the price). Many of my Pickeball friends bought these at that time (@ $15) and were very happy with their purchase. Of course, many have moved on to pro-level paddles now AND I understand that prices are not like 2021 as the sport has become much popular today.

Again, balls are only good for practice. The quality of game suffers and cannot be compared with something like Franklin Sports balls, for example.

Paddles are good to compete with intermediate level players. I am not a pro player yet LOL.

Hope this helps.

Stop with the crappy Starbucks for 3 days, and buy the decent set of niupipo Pickleball Paddles on Amazon. Often times it'll drop to $50. PickleballcentralDOTcom have decent entry level sets, often go on sale. Better yet. eBay has the Franklin Ben John's paddles for around $50 each. It was the #1 selling paddle 2 years ago, before he shifted endorsements to Joola.

These Franklin Ben John's were also sold for $49.99 at various Marshall's stores in Florida. Ymmv

It's shocking to me the amount of people who want to comment and suggest something that's double or triple the cost as an entry level. I can promise that most people reading this are not pro or semi pro level or even intermediate. At 25 bucks for 2 paddles and balls this is a steal. I bought 4 paddles and 6 balls at Walmart for me and my kids to just have fun like most anyone plans to do. It was well over $150+ for everything. I would have loved to get this deal.
