It's the same deal. 3 months of XB Gold converts to 50 days of GPU.

Just follow the steps outlined in the thread. Coupon codes no longer work but they didn't really make much of a difference. The three years of Xbox live are about $30 each and the one month of GPU to convert is about $6.
