Some would say "wait till these are sub $200", but if you want a card now, this is the lowest price it's been according to pcpartpicker.

faster 4060 out June
some say the 4070 is withdrawn as Nvidia can't sell them
your better buying 16gb card for future and present games
I don't think anyone would dispute 16GB is better than 8GB for current and future games....but there's quite a bit of a cost delta between this and the 4070 (and potential 4060). Were talking about a coming soon $400+? card vs. this "real-in-hand" $240 unit.
THAT SAID: if the 4060 really DOES come in at $300, it will put some pressure on these cards...but we'll have to wait and see.
You're not wrong, per say, but they are 2 different classes of cards. I'd be grabbing a 6800xt over the 4070 any day of the week though. Cheaper and slightly better performance plus, 16GB VRAM vs 12 for the 4070. Though, I do believe the 4070 uses less power.
I do like Amazon as a retailer (provided it is sold by and shipped by Amazon). Easy delivery and returns.
This card is sold by a 3rd party though (but is shipped by Amazon). The 3rd party gets a 4.7 out of 5 stars, HOWEVER, the latest reviews include 1-star reviews for receiving the wrong items (including a lower class graphics card for one customer).
Amazon has XFX Speedster SWFT210 Radeon RX 6650XT for $249 if you don't want to deal with MIR.
Digging deeper, I'd stay away from this deal personally. The retailer just doesn't get good ratings. Many of their previous 1-star ratings are not being counted because Amazon rectified the issues.
I REALLY don't like the (I assume "new"?) process of Amazon striking through 1-star ratings for vendors. I don't care if the issue was resolved. Wrong or defective items being sent, even if replaced with working items, should still reflect poorly on the vendor in question (unless Amazon really screwed it up....in which case it should somehow reflect poorly on AMAZON!).
To be sure, I have had probably 30% of my recent Amazon warehouse items come defective or just wrong (completely different type of product). I know it's a gamble when buying "used", but for "new" items, there should be no concern...but according to the ratings of this vendor, there is plenty to worry about.
I was wondering when you were going to post this after seeing it in the other thread. Even w/o the MIR it's still in line with some of the best pricing for this card.
4060-4060ti are not really comparable at this price point. I also doubt the 7600 will be worth it either.
