This so-called obsolete design lasted us 10 years in the Florida sun. New design with dark woven fabric lasted 1 yr. The fabric ripped and the arm rail rusted clean thru.

I doubt they make these the same way they made them a decade ago. Everything just gets made worse with worse materials

Same experience. Everything made with fake China fabrics have smelled like poison and then just dissolve. I wonder if they changed the recipe of these to also dissolve.

Obsolete? This is a BIFL item that's been around for so long for that reason. They are comfy too. Don't need to worry about cushions. Leave it in the sun for 10+ years and it's fine. Set it and forget it.
