Not sure if you know, but do these use the same Micron nand? Any cache? Worth buying?

For those curious, this is an excellent drive for PS5. I've had one in mine since March of last year according to Amazon.

Unfortunately, I paid the same price as the current 4TB price for a 2TB at that time but I've been pleased.

I bought expanded storage for my PS5 in late 2021. Paid $95 for a 1 TB. Prices have crashed since then for sure.

Anyone know if you plug in an nvme pcie into an nvme sata USB adapter if that ruins the drive? Asking for a friend Smilie

I ordered the 4tb on May 9th and it has been backordered despite what amazons page shows. It still hasn't shipped and it has been an overall bad experience. I'd avoid unless you don't need it anytime soon.

Prices have fallen like crazy for NVMe. Need a drive for my PS5 but might as well wait until 2 TB are like $60 to $80 lol

What's a good deal? I've been needing a 2tb ssd for at least a month now. Been holding off as prices drop weekly
This price for a 2TB with these specs IS a good deal.

how does this compare with the recent lexar 2TB deal?

from the highlights they look relatively the same. just shocking to see lexar has 6k+ reviews while this one has only a 300 when its been out for like a year longer

It will not hurt the drive or the data on it; it simply won't read it.
