Anyone have one of these? Curious for real impressions. I'd love to get a 10x10 and a pair of privacy screens (too bad those aren't on sale).

Hi, anyone has experience with this, how about when it is heavy raining or windy? And How about the quality after few years? Thanks

I have the 10'x13' version. We love it. The "bronze" color is definitely dark grey and not bronze. Assembly was easy enough for me and my spouse to complete in a couple of hours. The roof is really easy to open and close.

I've had the 10x13 for about a year now and the powder coated aluminum has held up pretty well over the winter. Instructions say to keep the louvers open over the winter so no snow piles up on it. I'm not sure if I would trust it with the louvers closed if it's extremely windy or on a roof top deck. Probably would want some extra reinforcements. They do give you lag bolts to attach the base, but I used GRK screws and those have worked great.

Agree it's more of a dark grey but it looks good on a natural color deck. Can confirm assembly took only a few hours with two people and even came with an extra louver in case one was damaged. Shipping came on a few pallets.

I would definitely recommend it.

can you attach things such as heaters/fans to it? Was curious how easy it is to attach things.

When you close the louvers, does any overhead sun get through? How about rain if the louvers are closed? Does it drip from the entire length of each louver joint?

I doubt the louvers are water tight so if you try, make sure you pick a WET rated fan, and not a DAMP rated fan.

Been in the market for one to get some shade on my deck. These can go right on the deck boards? I have a composite deck.

I bought the 20x10 from Lowe's after opening a new Lowe's credit card and got it for about 2500 shipped with tax included by stacking the 2800 sale price with a 20% credit card coupon. I love it. The 20x10 took me a whole day to put up by myself, it's very time consuming, but easy work.

The wife did help me stand the two long sides up while I put the 10 foot runs in that tie the two 20 foot runs together.. Note that this part wouldn't be possible for me unless without 3 people unless I was building beside a tree, building, house to hold one side up.

As far as function it's great, no light bleeds through, no water bleeds through either, if you have a fan it will get wet unless you have something blocking the side during a windy rain. I've sat under it during the rain and been fine though. Love it, any questions I'll try to answer back.

I haven't done any upgrades such as the sides they sell for it, I just can't justify $1,000 metal sides or $800 pull down blinds.

Just installed the 10x13 this weekend. Pretty impressed with it so far. Installation was a bit longer for us because our concrete patio was sloped. We had to build up some pedestals for 3 of the legs (used composite deck boards). Getting the right height was tricky with those pedestals to level it. If you're building on a level surface it should be much easier, but be aware if you do have a slope.

Outside of the slope issue, how was installing this on concrete in general? Any concrete issues you ran into (cracking, chipping, difficulty bolting the legs in)?
