Aren't they coming out with a 4K table in late 2023? Granted, OTG'ing gets more expensive at 4K... and I don't think they have native tables good enough for 4K. So maybe this is a good get after all.

I think pinball more than the arcade units are situations where higher resolution and refresh is noticeable, so the new pinball will probably be a more noticeable improvement particularly if the display supports a higher refresh rate.

That said it will be a lot more expensive and it's not like the current monitor is a piece of junk.

The tables that come with this unit would be pointless in 4k.

Personally, I wouldn't purchase this machine for the tables that come with it. If you are going down the OTG or customization route, the 4k machine becomes a more interesting question.

The 4K version is supposed to have solenoids out of the box, a larger backbox, and comes with a 4K monitor already installed. I've heard the VIBs board is built in as well. That's a better starting point if you plan on modding depending on the price. If you're content with 1080p or planning on replacing the playfield yourself, etc. then those things matter less. The solenoids alone won't be worth the price difference.

I purchased at 499 a day or two before the 449 on eBay for VIP outlet. Sent a nice message, they instantly refunded the 50$.
