I guess it is not a good deal... I just did my oil change at the dealership and it cost me over 100. so I wonder I might want to do it on my own but I dont know how to do it Smilie

It's really not difficult. Invest in a set of ramps, drain pan, socket set, and a funnel and make sure you fill your oil in the correct spot. Also change the filter out. YouTube is your friend and I'm sure there are videos for your make/model. All of those things will cost about an oil change and a half and will pay for itself after your second oil change.

How is this a good deal? Walmart has cheaper prices on same M1 oils every other month. Right now Walmart sells Mobil1 for $26.97 for 5 qts or about 3.4% cheaper than Costco's "deal".

Buy the oil and filter from Walmart. At the same time buy a catch pan that is enclosed. You will save hundreds of dollars throughout your life. Then learn how to do brakes and save thousands.

Don't forget the filters. The PCV is a must change too. Differential fluids are generally easy. Spark plugs can be easy pending on the car.
