You must have bought it on the store on an older console. They patched it to where if you owned either Wild Arms 1 or 2 in your PSN account, you can add the PS4/PS5 compatible copy for free.

When Wild Arms 2 ported with Legend of Dragoon weeks ago, I got Legend of Dragoon unlocked for free, but bought Wild Arms 2 since it didn't have the free unlock. But a couple weeks later, PSN credited my purchase back because they added the PS4/PS5 unlock for free.

Turns out that those who owned the digital copies on PS3/PSP will get the unlocks for free. Legend of Dragoon also qualified.

Same here! Wild Arms 1 was awesome and the intro video with the catchy music is great.

I could never get into Wild Arms 2 though. May have to give it another try and see how it compares.

Wild Arms is a fun, albeit bizarre game. Starts out as a western then quickly abandons that for an off the walls fantasy/sci-Fi plot.

Wild Arms 1/2 is worth the price of admission for old JRPGs.
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth was one I've been waiting on a discount for since release. You can also buy the Digital Deluxe edition of Valkyrie Elysium for $37.49 still to get it and Lenneth together, but I wouldn't recommend Elysium. Lenneth, however, is worth $13.99.

Oh, nice, I wasn't even aware that VP: Lenneth got a PS4/PS5 release.

I never finished the original version back on the PS1 version, and didn't have a PSP to grab Lenneth when it originally came out. Maybe I'll get it now.

I bought Puzzle Fighters on PS3 but can't play on PS5 for some reason. Says I have to buy it again.

~Seems you have to be a PS+ member to purchase these. How does this work now? I thought PS+ was a subscription service, but you have to purchase the games separately? Do the games persist in your account if you purchase them and then let your PS+ subscription lapse?~

EDIT: Nevermind! I was fooled by the checkout spam. Just click the tiny "skip to checkout" at the bottom of the PS+ ad to purchase separately.

Nice deal, I still have my copy of Wild Arms 3 for my PS2 and really loved the music. Story is a little weird though but combat mechanics and animations are great.

I would sometimes watch the opening credits several times just to listen to the music. I love the soundtrack!

One thing to keep in mind for Lenneth is to ensure that you use a guide if you want to get the true ending. The game has a laundry list of conditions that must be met, and a lot of the parameters are beyond arbitrary. I would say it's almost impossible to do them intuitively on your own.

Highly recommend Wild Arms. It was the very first PSX game I ever purchased, even before I had my console. Had to swap my N64 for my friend's PSX, then I learned how memory cards work and started the game 3 times in a row 😂

The Wild Arms version here also has Save State support and you can literally rewind time in the game. Definitely would be useful for speeding up a playthrough since some of the game can be quite hard and the game is very sparse on save points.

I still love the tune of the opening animation for wild arms.
