Better than the 4070 nice
And that applies to what percentage of people? If you do those things you wouldnt even consider AMD.
i'll be honest, the fact the 6800 doesn't really get lower than 500 either

my guess is 500 is the break even point for 6800-6900 dies

the 6800-6950 essentially are stuck at 500 unless they get down to the very last of the product then they would be willing to take larger losses to offload, say they got 1,000 cards left

to clear off and take it off the credit books maybe they be willing to take 100 dollar loss on each card at 400, so 100,000 dollars

but what happens if they have 10,000 cards left... that would be 1million loss to clear out inventory as well as flooding a market that would be satisfied and not buying the newer series cards

they kinda put themselves between a rock and hard place / honestly i think this is why evga got out... cuz as nvidias main partner during the last crypto boom probably took the massive losses and wanted to avoid a repeat

I'd be happy enough with the performance of the non-XT, but the price difference is so small this feels like an easy choice.

Really? A 6800 XT for $500 is considered a deal? Seriously?

GPU demand has been plummetting for the last year, but it feels like we're going backwards in terms of GPU prices.

I have this card. It's really nice. A little noisy but I'd buy it again.
