For any completionists, Dragon Blood series seems to run up to 8 books in its series and Fallen Empire is up to its 9th book (which also happens to be the only audiobook not available Audible (at least, not available yet)).

I listened to the first 3 audiobooks on my audible subscription then I got the other books on kindle. Got all the way to the 8th book and I enjoyed it.

It looks like Dragon Blood is also free on Kindle (for the non-audio-book) right now. Maybe not a good sign.

I actually read Buroker's previous book series and it was pretty good. I'd give it a chance. 🙂

OP, or anyone, how do you find out about these deals? Are you alerted from audible notifications like emails/texts or stumble across them? I recently cancelled audible after spending a "fortune" on the Legend of Drizzt series and The Expanse series. I also ended my email notifications from Audible. Now I'm using libby and it's great but I can't find everything I'm looking for all the time.

Dragon blood is awesome and I wish there was more.

There is two spin offs, one the includes the main characters a bit which is good, and another one that reminds me of Stargate universe, which I didn't like as much.

I highly recommend dragon blood
