I was wondering if AAFES was going to offer this at some point.

They've had the 4080 available forever which I already purchased a while back.

I'd probably pick this up if I didn't already have the 4080.

Not a crazy deal but saving tax makes this a good deal since the card is never discounted.

Credit card savings does make this a great deal if you're willing to sign up for it.

yep, and they don't have a purchase limit which is good and bad. they sometimes sell fast when people buy 5 or more at a time, but seem to come back in stock every so often.

Best buy has this for 1599 too, but is very rarely in stock, and tax is another $100 or so if you're lucky enough to get one.

they also have some great deals on OLED tvs right now, so you could get this card and a 55" LG G2 OLED for $2998 to your door, and a $449 statement credit.
The card makes the most sense if you're buying a bunch of stuff the first day since it takes up a hard credit check that could be used for other card signup bonuses like the chase sapphire preferred/reserve.

Best Buy are restocking these recently,

1: You can pay with gift card. $1600+ gift card generates about 6400 fuel points.

2: Best Buy has cash back(is graphic card excluded from cash back?)

3: For the tax, maybe order it to a low tax or tax free state, and ask a family friend to ship it to you?

There is no way this is a crazy good deal, video cards are still way overpriced, just like automobiles. Now that crypto is slowing down, hopefully prices will start coming down, to a respectable price.

you can order up to 20, or a 4090 and a lg oled tv ($1499 55" G2 or $1299 48" C3 or many other sizes/models), or ps5 ($479 disc version). Agree if you're only buying one card it's not worth the pull, but you won't find these anywhere else brand new and in stock for $1599 to your door, let alone $1359.

The credit line will only be like $1000 for a new card

Yup, it's already happening in other countries. This current gen of cards from Nvidia and AMD are not selling very well at all. Overpriced, with not much performance improvement over the last gen (mostly in the low and mid categories).

I swear I saw a 4090 for $1250 on Amazon a few days ago. They had around 12 in stock. The price was so unbelievable I kept trying to figure out if they were reconditioned, or that card had problems in reviews or something, but I couldn't find anything. Had it in my cart and did more research and realized I'd need a new PSU and UPS for it, and both would have to be around $150-$200+ each, and decided against it.

Poor earning???

Nvidia
reported first-quarter earnings for its fiscal 2024 on Wednesday, with a stronger-than-expected forecast that drove shares up 26% in extended trading.

Here's how the company did versus Refinitiv consensus estimates for the quarter ended in April:

EPS: $1.09, adjusted, versus 92 cents expected
Revenue: $7.19 billion, versus $6.52 billion expected

Isn't that promo code only for use at the Navy Exchange?

You are correct, this code does not work at AAFES.
