the 35L should have a hipbelt. carrying that for a while won't be the most fun.
Prefer to have the pockets or pouch on the waist band/belt. It's super convenient to put some small snacks, battery/cable, small sunscreen or something like that. Then you don't have always stop to move the bag down and open it during the hike.

Looks like this is the previous version, padded pocketed hip belt was added to the new 35L (not for the 25L)
