I think these were classified as "ebikes" when they first came out. They have "pedals" that sorta work. Only positive for these is you don't have to register it I guess. Save up for the electric vespa instead if you need something similar
Max speed 20 mph? How's this more than just a heavy escooter?
You can do so much better for this amount of money. Too slow, it weighs a ton, awkward to pedal on, not terribly powerful for hill climbing reportedly. There are lots of reviews on youtube, I think it's a bad move.

I was really hoping the answer would be "it has actual working turn signal lights placed high up enough for cars to notice & not jankily installed with a 3rd party mod." But I just checked the website hoping to see that, and haven't found any mention of turn signals.

Shame because at this sale price, it's arguably cost-competitive with a segway "just a heavy escooter" like you just mentioned, plus a handful of less-janky 3rd party mods (e.g. suspension, seat, etc.)

Honda Navi slightly more expensive...100mi per gallon. Way faster.

I admit this scooter looks cool and modern. However, the performance is lacking. I don't want to use something that can't keep up with traffic.
