Avoid this company like the plague. Regularly on slickdeals I tried one of their shelves via Walmart and it was the cheapest materials I've seen in a shelf… I honestly would much rather have a plastic shelf than the hollow thin metal that these wire shelves come with
This looks exactly like the shelves I bought from BigLots for my first apartment...the 250lb per shelf line made me laugh loud enough to wake up the cat. I can just make out in the pictures the little plastic shims that are supposed to hold the shelf up by the little grooves, but I remember them just sliding down about the time I'd put anything on them...that is if the screw holding the top of the pole to the bottom one (mine may have been taller) didn't snap off first. I'm pretty sure mine were more duct tape than shelf by the time I threw them out.
These are pretty flimsy. Probably better than plastic that will warp over time but these are far from heavy duty if you truly plan to put heavy items on it. I have one and it's fine for the less than 30 lbs I have on each shelf.
