$6 isn't enough. I'm going to swap over to pennzoil. They still have their $10 dollar rebate and the price at Walmart is cheaper than Mobil 1

Because many rebates don't end up getting claimed or used which means some people accidentally pay full price when they intended to get the rebate.

Walmart has oil for roughly $29 while AAP and AutoZone are at $42. I've gotta buy 2 so it just seems better to go the Walmart direction. I could price match AAP to Walmart, but I'm skeptical on if the rebate will be accepted as apparently this can't be combined with other store offers.

It does make sense because not the oil i'm worried about and while I have the car lifted, how long does it take to do an oil change? If you want to find out, spend $28 and send it to blackstone to have it analyzed. ezpz.

I wonder if they will find some reason to reject a Costco submittal based on it being 6 quarts vs 5. Seems like they try to find many reasons to reject (I had to submit 3 times for Napa Mobil 1 rebatee).

No then you change your filter if you buy junk and top off the oil. However that oil analysis sees the dirt in your oil, so you are checking your filter as well. Just saying you are doing extra work and throwing away good oil. Makes no sense.

You are correct. I am literally throwing away good oil. But if I don't change oil when the car lifted, I will get lazy and won't do tire rotation. I might just get tires from costco next time so I get free rotation. I hate lifting the car for only a rotation.

Yeah i understood that as well from the past deals. But I wonder if there's any correlation with people who always claim they never got their rebates back. Would some of them be randomly unlucky and neglected by a representative who denied it since it wasn't on the list? With walmart never officially on the list, it essentially gives em leeway to deny it correct?

Someone mentioned car dealers always overfill. Yea what the hell is wrong with the dealers? I have a brand new toyota camry with less than 1000 miles in my garage right now and it is overfilled by at least 1/2qt. I'm too lazy to get some out but I think I should.
Damn these ahole dealers.

I'm buying this from Amazon. I'm gonna extract some oil out. I'm betting, the next 4 oil changes with the damn dealer, they are going to overfill my brand new car again. How do I sue these aholes.
