$6 isn't enough. I'm going to swap over to pennzoil. They still have their $10 dollar rebate and the price at Walmart is cheaper than Mobil 1

Because many rebates don't end up getting claimed or used which means some people accidentally pay full price when they intended to get the rebate.

It seems to mainly depend on whether it has Direct Injection or not. If DI, ignore owners manual and change often.

How is pennzoil with honouring their rebates now? I always found Mobil to be 0 stress and 0 work but i've had a few issues with Pennzoil / SOPUS and rebates in the past.

I only used them once a few years ago . Didn't have any problem. Actually got the rebate faster than Mobil 1. I normally used Mobil 1 because it was cheaper after rebate. Now it's not.

It's up to you if you want to try it.

In my opinion the $6 rebate for mobil 1 is ridiculous because they just raised their prices for oil.


Walmart prices

0w-20 Mobil 1 is $26.97. so that makes it $20.97 after $6 rebate.

Pennzoil platinum 0w-20 is $23.78.

So after $10 rebate it makes it $13.78 after rebate.

Mobile and Penzoil both refused to honor the rebates for me the last times I tried. I don't But either one anymore.
