This is a great deal when you factor in that this 280MM AIO comes with:
+Dedicated Fan/RGB hub that can be used separately from the cooler.
+The 280MM AIO comes with 4 X 140ARGB Vardar fans. The 360 variant is also on sale ($168.XX) and comes with 6 X 120MM Vardar ARGB Fans.
Either of these options are great and will perform very well.
Anyone using modern midrange+ cpus will absolutely benefit from this.
Why? What CPU would be throttled because you bought a cheap air cooler vs the AIO in this deal?
There are certainly space constraint reasons someone might want an AIO, or they like the aesthetics, but for most there isn't any performance improvement benefit.
Ok, so I guess if you have a Intel 13900k which apparently uses up to 253w, you might want an AIO maybe. Seems a bit ridiculous wattage for a modern CPU. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7o74u1u642I
Also think he's overclocking the CPU or increasing wattage of CPU turbo setting, at 285w, so it might actually be fine with air at it's stock settings.

$20 plus tax and will keep CPU cool enough for 90%+ of users.

But this is still a good price for a 280 AIO.
