XPS is the high end professional line (stiffer chassis, better build quality). Most of them come with integrated graphics. Occasionally you might see a 50 series dGPU in them.

Alienware is their gaming line.

I just scored a 13" XPS Plus (Like New) with the 13th Gen 1360P from Dell Outlet for $1044 (with 12% coupon savings). Dell claims XPS Plus with 1360P is twice as fast as the 12th gen. I am not sure about that claim, but I think it should show considerable improvements. Keep an eye on outlet, it keeps coming in and out. Here's the 12% coupon - 725612XPS

if you have an AMEX Business Card, you might get 20% off at Dell.com/amex like I have making this $720. Very tempted.

But at the same time, I could get a better processor Samsung for around 800 without any coupons.

Ended up snagging a xps 13 2in1 as I have too many regular laptops and wanted something different

Same spec as XPS 13.
i7-1250U cpu
16GB
512GB nvme
Better screen 13 inch 3K (2880 x 1920) 3:2 WVA Anti-Reflective Anti-Smudge 500-nits GorillaGlass Victus Eyesafe LBL WLED 2-in-1 Touch Display, Supports Active Pen

Better portability if I have a separate keyboard at work. I don't like it doesn't have a built in kick stand though.

My job just gave me this as an upgrade. It's nice, handles a ton of large spreadsheets on three monitors fine.
Hi, could you please use Windows PowerShell (similar but better than the "command prompt") to run

Get-CimInstance Win32_WinSat

and post those Windows Experience Index Score? TIA

Great find. 1250U is very slow. 1240P or 1260P is decent but 1360P is blazing!!'

Here is the chart of the CPU
  • 1360P is top of the line XPS 13 Plus CPU
  • 1240p and 1260p are next down.
  • 1250U is the efficient CPU you'll find in XPS 13 ( regular, not plus). Same cpu option in 2-in-1

Agreed I was lucky to find it. With the AMEX $120 off offer, it made it even better for me.

It works just fine in Outlet
Yes, the code is only for Outlet.

Was this the 1200p screen (NOT OLED) and 16GB/512GB SSD?
That is correct. SSD is user upgradable. My build comes with Touch Display and Windows Pro. So the retail price comes out to $1559 on this one. If you have the Amex $120 offer, you can get the same build for less than $1000 through Outlet. Great deal on the latest 13th gen 1360P and the XPS Plus build.
Also, remember the OLED screen will knock off 2-3 hours of battery time. The 500 nit FHD display is fantastic and gives your close to 10 hours. If anyone is going for Plus, I highly recommend picking up one from outlet with 1360P, you will see incredible improvements over 12th gen. Not to mention the ~35% off as compared to retail.

I don't have Amex Business card, is there any other coupon or cashback to bring it down to around 750. Or is it easy to get a new AMEX card.

The AMEX code doesn't with with Dell Outlet as it has a different merchant code.

The $120 AMEX is only if you have a "Business Card" right? I don't think I have it on my regular consumer cards Frown

EDIT: Nevermind. I SEE IT!

I have had success with it in the past, let's see how it goes this time around.

My Amex Business card gives you up to a $400 credit each year at the Dell store. $200 in the first half of the year and $200 the second half. Not sure if everyone has this or not, but this would make this deal very slick.
