Are the ones from Aldi good?i fi I think I got a bad box. They were so hard and tasted terrible.
Every box we got was bad. They are indeed cracker-shaped and crunchy, but that's about it. I don't know exactly how one goes about weaving wheat, but they seem to be extruded and stamped instead, and also have a weird and unwelcome sweetness.
For years and years, I could rely on Walmart to have these for 2/$5 or so, when they were in stock (specifically Roasted Garlic, although Black Pepper is good too.) I figured that would go out the window with Ukraine being a major wheat supplier, and I think these may have been shrinkflated as well? Didn't they used to be 10 oz?
Anyhow, Walmart had them for $2/box a few weeks ago, and Amazon beat that on S&S, making these cheaper/oz than the family size. Good times, wound up with 20 boxes, can't store any more.

Ah! I'm glad it's not just me! Yeah, they were not what I wanted at all.
