I thought the wait list was as much about avoiding overprovisioning as it was any hardware supply chain issues. I guess so much for that, and they will oversell it and it will suck for everybody.
And the support is competent but wait times are ridiculous. This can't help that either.
Looks like they'll only ship to certain states and ask you to verify service plans are available in your area. Even if you manage to get the hardware not sure how easy it would be to get it operating if your address technically isn't supported yet.
Some of the people commenting here do not understand that the people buying Starlink are obviously going to be paying more because they have no other option. If you have other options, it's not a chance to get a teaser rate like you are hopping phone companies.

edit: just tried setting it up at my sister's home and unless we choose "Roaming" for $150 a month, we can use it here in southern Missouri.
And the support is competent but wait times are ridiculous. This can't help that either.
