Yeah. I can see that with a proper bike. This one doesn't tell you much of anything about the bike. No idea what components are on this thing much less gear ratios.

From other 8 speed freewheels, its likely somewhere around 250% - 300% ratio, which should cover wide enough range for urban riders. The pictures shows Falcon Saker shifter and derailleur, common cheap components on entry level bikes. The brand has been around for a while, may not win any races, but for cheap city commuting, good enough, and especially at this price.

Thank you! I wasn't looking to buy a bike but now that my son is learning how to ride without training wheels, I figured it'd be good for me to get a bike again. I bought the Terrace Men's Comfort Bike, Warm Charcoal Gray, 27.5-inch for $158 and used my wife's nurse license to save an additional $40. A total deal for my first bike in ages.
