I received the bike a few days ago, but oddly my credit card has not been charged other than the pre-auth that has fallen off. It's been nearly 2 weeks.

I ordered and received the men's and women's terrace model-- the disc brakes are s***, spent hours, tomorrow will take to bike shop to get the brakes adjusted. Can I call huffy and make them pay for adjustment?

This video helps explain how to adjust disc brakes. May need to watch it a few times, this bike has the single caliper on outside, so only certain segments apply. Learning to do your own basic maintenance is good, because it could be needed while riding. Once on another bike I had to emergency brake, and the pressure squeezed the calipers out of alignment, locking the wheels. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NmqGeLNcVIg

I realize Shimanos are budget components as well and that $400 price tag is also inflated. Regardless, I ordered one, lets see how it's for casual riding.

Any more real world feedback on the men's Torreya bike? I'm just looking for something cheap to ride around the neighborhood with my kids. This looks like a better option than the $98 huffy at Walmart.
