Lol I instinctively bought these and cancelled the order. Picked up 2 XL's for $180 shipped with tax (used a $50 off $200 promo I found). Didn't need 3 anyway and would rather the XL for a little more.

For now, we have set it on the patio table and made smores. We are keeping it in the car for when we are at the park or lake to make smores again. Smilie It was a perfect Smores maker.

I think they're referring to the "refer a friend" account promotion where account xyz sends the referral to another person. That's only good on the solostove website, not Costco**

You can send one to yourself from a different account, or someone can DM you if you'd need one. ☺️

You could alternatively use code "FREEMESA" to get 79.99 off a Mesa (making it free) or the XL (making it ~30). From my understanding, you can only do one promo code so we ended up just doing FREEMESA for an XL with our bonfire purchase

Best option is wood pellets for a pellet grill. The mesa comes with a little grate that sits inside and is made to keep the pellets elevated, so it works really well.

I have a Solo Stove Yukon, Bonfire, pizza oven, pellet heater and this Mesa. The Mesa is a worthless waste of money. I've tried pellets and the small wood you can buy directly from solo stove. They both burn fast and you have to refuel every 5-10 minutes.

If you don't plan on cooking over it, get wood heating pellets and not cooking pellets. A bag of heating pellets should be between $5 to $8 for a 40 pound bag, way cheaper than pellets for a grill.

For actual wood, look for someone selling firewood and see if they have any little pieces or can cut/split some short for you.

This size is so small though!
