Wenger watches look really good at the expense of (usually) having cheap crystals that scratch very easily. I've ruined two wenger watches by lightly grazing them against things while wearing them. My Tissot has a sapphire crystal that has had its crystal banged against hard surfaces three times so far and not a single mark on it.

Edit: this DOES have a sapphire crystal so thumbs up from me. I'd probably pay a little more and get the bracelet instead of a strap. https://www.jomashop.com/swiss-mi...1-304.html

These are as low as you get for a Swiss-made quartz watch. Good gift for a high schooler if you're on a budget, but don't expect the quality of a $500 Swiss quartz.

Nice that it comes with sapphire crystal. does look like a good price for this piece. The band is also black stainless steal. I mistook it for silicon at first. Something like this would make for a good every day wear.Inexpensive, durable, and it's black coloring would make it work with such a wide range of styles/outfits/occasions.

Pretty sure that's a mistake on the listing for the cheaper one--the band really looks to be silicon. I'd get the bracelet one and sub in my own silicon strap.

Yes but MSRP's are usually grossly inflated with Swiss watches. No informed buyer is actually paying $250 for these things.

Also I've never heard of "Swiss Military" watches. There are two "Swiss Army" brands associated with the watch industry (Victorinox and Wenger) and I feel like these guys are trying to pull a fast one and make buyers think that they are getting a watch from one of those two brands.

you can get a Victorinox Alliance Swiss Quartz for 80+tax from the Amazon.... Its says mineral crystal in the description and also sapphire and some report it being sapphire so probably sapphire but who knows...
I personally would trust victorinox more but I've never seen this watch so maybe it's great... Different styles of course both 100mwr.. probably both are not screw down crowns
