Henderson, NV, Costco has a floor unit available for 1999.88. If we weren't visiting from out of state, I don't think we could pass this up.. 😅

But wanted to give a heads up for anyone in the local area hoping to snag one of these beauts.

I've personally never done floor models, but the sales associate said there's no box or anything in store and you have to bring whatever you want to secure it for the ride home as an FYI. These TVs are huge and delicate, so I'd want a box + styrofoam + blankets galore to secure it in place!

Just picked up the same floor model in east Plano, TX for the same price. No box but all cords + remote. Came with a 5 year All State protection plan as well at no additional cost.

Bought a king bed sheet set and took as much cardboard as I could. Got it home safe and sound and it's working greatly.

Curious - I bought this the other week as a boxed tv and paid $2400. But.....using just the stand, without it being anchored to a wall, it easily 'wobbles' in the sense that the screen easily 'bends', so to speak, just moving it by hand, easily. Understandably, it's very bottom heavy - the stand it comes with is clearly weighted, I suppose so that it can't (I hope) tip over. Anyone have any experience or concern abut this 'screen wobble' issue on this ginormaous TV? Aside from that, it's an excellent picture and among Consumer Reports top picks. Much less expensive than the C3 2023 models out now.

Ours always wiggles if we need to move the entertainment center.. which is always nerve wracking 😅

But as you mentioned it's so bottom heavy with that weighted anchor and designed that way, we've never really worried about it!

So the fact that it's designed that way and I haven't heard (pretty active on SDs and Oled Reddit) any problems with other peeps TVs, we haven't been overly concerned as you asked!
