Yes - black just includes the restricted states on yellow. If you don't live in California, NY, or NJ, you should buy the yellow ticket instead since they're cheaper.

Exactly. I purchased today and worked as you described…2 Black tix (which I just used at the self-serve machine at AMC) + $20 which I was able to add to my wallet on the AMC app (which you could use for another ticket, concessions of whatever else). Have fun!

These are incredibly annoying to use if your AMC has the choose your seat and your AMC isn't close by. You can only use them in person at the box office so you have to drive there a few days before in person unless you want to sit in the front row or in separated seats. You can't use them online.

Most AMC tickets (paper), even the re-admits have the 16 digit code running horizontal and the 12 digit code (considers as the PIN) that runs vertical.

Sometimes the 2 codes don't work online. I would suggest to go into the AMC theater and ask one of the AMC crew to scan the ticket to see if it is still valid. I have some yellow tickets that I couldn't use online but are valid when I went the AMC theater buy a ticket.nod

Those who get access to employer perks, the AMC tickets are usually $9.75-$10 per ticket. So running the math, this may really be a small-medium popcorn (7-8 dollar) worth of benefit buying the deal

Ex AMC employee here. I second this. Black tickets will work anywher, Yellow are excluded in California, New York, and New Jersey.

They sell these on Facebook for $5 a ticket and you get an e ticket within an hour.

These come with the pins/etc so you can indeed redeem them online, bought a few thru Costco a few months ago and again on this deal, got an email with everything needed to use them online or in person (I still have old black tickets from years and years ago that Ive never used because they don't have a pin and I don't want to have to go in person to redeem)
