This was a legit price mistake. But taken down by hd. This listing will be up tomorrow but with normal price.

You don't need to make up stuff to make yourself feel better.

I saw the quantity available go down from hundreds, to 80, to 23, to 12 and then the product became unavailable.

There was a limit of 5 per purchase, and in hindsight, even buying this and reselling the 12.0Ah's to others that would gladly pay $150-200 would net the 8.0Ah for incredibly cheap or effectively free. A lot of casual/informal resellers flip Milwaukee bundle deals and battery deals like this on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Offer Up, etc.
