I have codes from older movies that I have forgotten I had in some movies. Sometimes the expired codes still work. 🤞

WB nuked a ton of codes that typically would've been valid, but had "expired" (per the slip) - they're catching a lot of flack for it, although technically they didn't do anything wrong.

Pretty disappointed, since I bought a used GOT set, and the code was not redeemed but listed as "promotion no longer available". Thanks WB.

Are they denying request for new codes with proof of purchase? If so I can see this being counter productive only encouraging piracy.

I have seen complaints where they inactivated some codes that were not expired.

Yes, but at that point one would have the Blu-ray or 4K disc, so not a big need to pirate.

Correct - denying and stating the code has expired (which, technically, it had) and they can no longer produce a new code. Despite still having it available for digital purchase, so... I call BS, but yeah.

Search Reddit for posts about it ("WB digital" should do), and you'll see a ton of people getting cookie-cutter, robotic responses.

I suppose WB wants people to double-dip to buy the digital copies, but they're going to quickly realize that most people will rather flip them the bird or rip their physical copies instead.

Not necessarily true. I buy discs for use in our living room disc player, but I want the digital copies so I can also watch said movies out in the garage / shop.
