Good price for this monitor (really what it should have been all along). I have it, enjoy it for photo editing, but do regret not getting the VESA model and buying a 3rd party stand for flexibility.

Search on Amazon. There are a few adapters you can buy that will let you vesa mount this monitor/m1 iMac. I use one from Vivo.

LG 5k display has the same panel, but doesn't have the build quality of the apple one. Also this has a pretty decent webcam and good speakers.

None that are dependable long term. Just buy the apple and move on happily. I paid full price with apple care on day 1 and still enjoy looking at it daily. I tried so many 4K monitors and returned them all. This one even works beautiful with a windows computer if you get a specific cable for $70.

You don't need 120hz just for gaming. It makes moving windows and scrolling smoother, for one thing. And I can get 2 4K 120hz+ monitors with 100%^ DCI-P3 or Adobe RGB for less than one of these and still pocket $250.

You're missing the point. It's specifically meant to be used with a Mac and natively. The other monitors offer higher refresh rate but lack the pixel closeness and hidpi settings that make using this display identical to a MacBook screen.
