But you're comparing to LG which is 3 times the price.
I'd point out this won't matter to everyone. Obviously I'd love an LG OLED, but even if I had one I turn on then whatever box I'm using does the rest. Right now it's mostly the newest Apple TV 4K, which is blazing fast, and retails for under 150. Pretty easy to just grab the Vizio and a box that will outperform the LG for far less. There are other issues, but I've never worried about the OS much.

We had the 2018 version, absolute junk. It would lose connection to the sound bar, power on with half the screen having lines down it, sometime it wouldn't respond to the power button, and builtin WiFi would randomly lose connection and refuse to connect.

Typically the only way to fix any of these issues was to pull the plug and wait 30 seconds before plugging it in again.

That experience has pretty much turned me off of their TVs for good.

I've had a ton of Vizio TV's and had pretty good experiences with them until my P55-F1, which every single one they sold had the FALD fail at 13-16 months. Out of warranty and they did absolutely nothing for all the people who bought what was their flagship TV at the time. Only solution to stop a constant shadow from appearing on the TV as you watch was to turn off HDR on your streaming device and turn the back light to low.

Will never buy another Vizio TV due to VIzio refusing to stand behind a product they built that should have been recalled.
Your credit card may have covered it for a extra year. My visa saved me from my Sony dying

You sure about that. It was released 100 percent in 2021.
This is what Vizio calls 2022 model year (J model), released in 2021. Vizio generally release their line up over the summer months. Their latest is the 2023 models (K, released in 2022). They haven't talked about their 2024 line up yet. Car manufacturers do the same thing.

Again. Why have they released higher end models since 2021. I don't care how Vizio does there releases. The last P or PQ models were released in 2021 and none released in 2022.

Looks like a good deal on a disposable TV. Do people buy disposable TVs?

I currently have Hisense 65H9F 65-inch 4K Ultra HD Android Smart ULED TV HDR10 (2019). Is this worth upgrading to?

arrived by fedex and all in one piece.I was not happy to see blue tape actually taped to the tv all around it. I was very afraid I would peal off some of the screen or cause damage to it.

Additionally, I am somewhat concerned. February of 2021 I bought another 65 vizio from walmart and a few months ago, the bottom half started flickering lol. I bought this one for exactly the same amount. $700. So, does that mean that it will start flickering the bottom half in two years? Mind you, this is a bedroom tv with little use. 1 year warante unless you buy additional.

edit,

I did some research, it turns out that on Mid/High FALD starts to fail. This will happen within two years of owning the TV. I guess I will turn it off in 2025 lol

How would this fare as an outdoor TV under cover year round in Socal (Limited rain and no snow)? My main needs are something to handle reflections/ glare from windows on the house behind the seating area. I have been waiting for hisense U7 or u8 to drop (I know this may be a long time to wait). Tried to score this at Costco when it was sub 500 but had no luck.
