Max lawn 3000 sqft, an acre is 43560sqft for comparison. Good for small yard or front lawn maybe.

Anytime they say, "Easy to Install", it's usually not easy to install.

I can tell you those push on fittings in the kit are a beast, you either have to heat the tubing or let it sit in the sun all day to get it to be soft enough to push over the barb.

People in the reviews mention putting the tubing in boiling water and then using it. That's how "easy" this kit is.

That sounds like the most minor inconvenience possible.

Let me know when you install one of these and you'll change your mind unless you can install it in the 10 min you have before it cools down and needs reheating for every joint. PVC and glue is way easier.

Sprinklers without check valves will leak a serious amount. F around and buy this and find out. Otherwise, would be a good deal.

Sprinklers are literally leaks on purpose. Are you complaining that this accidentally does more of its job than it's designed to?

While on this topic, what's a decent cost of hiring a professional to do the install ? Is there a cost per sprinkler head or cost per sq ft as a rule of thumb?

I just use a lighter to heat up ends for my drip work with 5/8inch tubes or even 1/4inch drip tubes. Works like a charm and hardens within few seconds.

This looks just like buried irrigation tubing. Is it standard .7 OD tubing? Is it rated for higher PSI ? Or is the sprinkler head a lower PSI head or is it a standard sprinkler head? If standard, do they make irrigation tubing to standard sprinkler head adapters ?

Buy this so you can pay me $100 a hour to come fix it or tear it out and replace it

100 a hour for labor give or take plus materials . Depends on a lot of factors . Not cheap. But this thing pretty garbage you'd end up hiring a pro anyways.
