Decent price for these headphones from Sony. The noise cancellation is top-notch and often compared with the Bose QC45 and the Sennheiser Momentum 4. The Sonys are a bit more catered toward music than the Bose while the Sennheisers are even more so musically than these Sonys. It's often a trade-off between noise cancellation and sonic clarity given the way noise cancellation works.

The xm-4 (last year's model) are just as good, and in many ways better for travelling (they fold flat unlike the xm-5). You can probably get a new xm-4 for less than $250 or a refurbished for under $200 easily. There's always Slickdeals posts about those from legit sellers like secondipity). I've bought 2 refurbs and both were basically new

Bought refurbished XM-4s over these since I use them while commuting every day. Solid decision I would say since my ears are not very sensitive like some audiophiles and so I couldn't have really noticed the difference between these and XM-4s. Secondipity had those for $160

I tried the price match today but the bb support asked me for lowe's order number to price match, which I didn't have since it's oos

I bought refurbished xm3s from Secondipity, looked almost new, but bluetooth didn't work, so had to return. One thing that worries me about buying refurbished is battery. If it wasn't replaced, what's the guarantee that it will not drop to 30 min in a year.
