I fail to see how this is a good deal, in fact this laptop seems like a rather awful value on many levels. I could see this as a viable option at $500 or maybe $600 if you really want a lenovo laptop which has a current gen processor, but at $750 it's a travesty. To start, the screen on this has an exceptionally poor color gamut. 72% ntsc is relatively equivalent to 100% srgb, so the 45% ntsc screen on this laptop is significantly lacking even for basic content consumption and will look extremely dull and washed out. Next, it has 8gb of ram which is frankly unacceptable at this price class in 2023, 16gb is the current standard. Its ssd is also only 512gb, so chances are you need to factor in the price of a ssd upgrade.
When it comes to performance this laptop is also rather inferior in its price class, and quite frankly the choice of components at this price are puzzling. To start, the 3050 6gb is a joke of a card. While the extra 25% cuda cores and additional 2gb of vram compared to the original mobile 3050 are nice, nvidia cut the bus width to only 96 bit, and there isn't any additional L2 cache to compensate like on lovelace gpus, so the 3050 6gb still has worse performance than the 3050ti mobile. Functionally speaking, this gpu can only run old or highly optimized games at 1080p, and in many cases at lower settings. Anyone looking for a laptop primarily for gaming could get a far superior gaming experience from a last gen 3060 laptop at the same price or less. In fact, if the games you play are non-demanding to the point you can play them on a 3050 laptop gpu, then a laptop with an apu that has a Radeon 780M igpu would almost certainly be sufficient while being far slimmer, more power efficient, and having a better battery life.
Moving on to the cpu, it is a midrange phoenix point apu with 6 cores. While it's certainly sufficient for most people, and is quite power efficient, in terms of raw cpu performance it is not massively superior to prior gen cpus found in laptops with discrete gpus, and 6 cores is rather few at this price point. While the rdna3 igpu of this processor is far superior to previous gen igpus, it doesn't really matter since this laptop has a discrete gpu anyways.
This brings me to the crux of the issue: this laptop doesn't seem to offer a compelling value to any demographic. When it comes to media consumption such as viewing images, movies, videos, etc. the poor quality screen makes it a bad option even compared to cheaper laptops. When it comes to gaming it will have massively inferior performance compared to last gen 3060 laptops, which are also cheaper. When it comes to productivity workloads, the 6 core cpu means that it has rather low multi-threaded performance, making it once again unsuitable. When it comes to portability, since it has a discrete gpu, it has rather poor battery life, is relatively thick compared to slim laptops, and weighs far more. All in all, I simply can't see why anyone would consider buying this laptop at this price.

Agree with what you said except, where are the "last gen 3060 for the same price or cheaper" laptops?

Lenovo better not show their face ever again.
