I'm looking for a 42-43" tv. I have a 2015 1080 LG LED. I'm wanting something with better contrast and a brighter picture/color.
Still scared of OLED burn in, so those are out. And I believe their is only one 42" model anyway. How does the Nanocell compare with the Vizio QLED, Sony X80k, or Samsung QLED? I've always loved Sonys picture . But usually cannot afford their price ..lol

I will have an Xbox series X attached to it.

Samsung did their job in scaring you about OLED burn in. Ironically Samsung QD-OLED has much worse burn in than current LG OLEDs.

Don't be afraid of LG OLED burn in. You just have to be more mindful about things which is never a bad thing (don't leave your TV on watching the news, etc).

I'm sure that's the case. Unfortunately, my kids haven't figured out how to turn off the tv when not watching it (not toddlers either😔)...so the static Roku symbol is always floating across. I'm sure that's not good for OLED tvs.

Anyhoo, anyone have thoughts on nanocell vs QLED or will a good SOnY have just as nice of a picture?
