Apples to oranges. The 7900x is referring to a specific AMD cpu, 7900 XTX refers to a gaphics card that has a similar nomenclature ;-)

Tempting... but at this point I think I will wait for Zen 5 and for them to get more of the bugs out of AM5 stuff like motherboards....

My 5900X is still working well.

Same for my Crosshair Hero X670E with Trident Z5 6400. Would not run stable at 6400 when first built. There was a BIOS update that fixed it. No issues since.

Well, I just upgraded to 5900x yesterday from 3700x, wanted to buy 5950x but the difference in performance with 5900x wasn't that much. Point is I maxed out my system. Bought 7900xtx and 128GB ram on the way. I will jump to am5 I guess in the next few years.

This happened to me. It can be resolved by disabling "memory context restore" in EXPO.
