I mean, it's not $1599… it's not really a deal even with Diablo 4. There's no real point of getting any 4090 above the base MSRP, unless you absolutely have to go with some unique aesthetic. The factory OC is a joke, one quick slider adjustment in MSI Afterburner and you got at least an instant 200MHz overclock easily with no additional power tuning. The only other benefit is B&H having PayBoo no sales tax.

For $100 more this maybe the best built 4090 that will be released. It is more than just aesthetics.

Yes, it is not a deal but the 4090 is the only 40 series worth buying.

You do realize this is supposed to be a deals site, no? People commenting on the price is kind of the idea of a deal, which this...is not.

This is just a gross misunderstanding of these third-party cards. If you think that the power limit, VRMs, cooling, and noise of the MSI Suprim X and Zotac Trinity cards (or most other 4090) are the same, you simply just don't know what youre talking about.

This post was for people trying to get a card that is often OOO or being sold closer to $2000+. Not sure if youre not in the market, why even click on this - Except to hate and spread false information.

This is absolutely a deal for people looking to purchase this card. You can be mad at the current state of GPUs - but when this card is constantly being solid for hundreds more... I'm not sure what youre expecting

I got a little inpatient and got the Gigabyte gaming OC a few months ago, also from BH. saved near $200 in tax with the payboo card. It's one of the cards that can OC to 600W but I haven't found a need to.

Honestly, no real reason to buy a "top end" card for 4090 at this point. FE uses high end components and has been coming into stock every week or two and staying in stock all day. Just wait for that and its $1599 price point. All the coolers for 4090 are way over speced so they all run very cool, and there's zero reason to overclock the 4090 outside of getting a few percent off a benchmark. You'll have a much better time undervolting to keep the card more efficient without losing more than 1-2% performance.

I guess if you live in a high sales tax state and feel like signing up for Payboo, then B&H can be a better deal, so definitely a fine route to go in that case.

why is the 4090 the ONLY card worth buying? the 40 series jump from 30 series wasn't as big as the 30 series from 20 series
