Not bad if you missed the $30 for new condition. Although many people would prefer new, and be willing to pay for the difference here.

Great price, even for refurbished! I picked up a stack of HP EliteDesk 800 G2 / G3 minis at a local auction that came without drives. These will work perfectly. I'm in for 14 of them. Thanks!

These are fine for applications where you need a super cheap SSD and really don't care beyond that, but for any computer that I will personally use, it doesn't make much sense to buy anything less than 1TB given show cheap SSDs are. Personally, I have decided to not buy anything less than 4TB now that they are regularly under $200.

In terms of refurbs, unlikely you will have issues with these drives as it is extremely unlikely anyone has written enough data to these drives to get anywhere close to the TBW rating.

Just checked. The TBW rating of this drive is 300TBW, so you'd have to fill it up 600 times to reach that.

Blow off extra dust, perhaps wipe it off if it has visible dirt.
Plug it in, make sure it works.
Neatly put it into packaging.
Place it into the container labeled 'refurb'.

While not a BB employee my guess is they just secure erase these and maybe run some kind of diagnostic to make sure it isn't failing. I've bought various Samsung refurb SSD's and only one had a fairly high usage but nothing to the point I was concerned about. The rest were very light usage and all probably returned for some reason or another.
