16 gig ram, 300 nits screen, AX wifi (according to BB if you trust them) and TB 4 but no usb4, Why!!??

I don't understand why Nvidia has made the mobile 4080 and 4090 so much faster than the 4070, 3080, 3080ti. They underpowered the 4070 and under.

It is a full powered, 175W TGP GPU. And regarding 16GB, that is actually valid cost cutting measure to make the RTX 4080 Laptop available at this price. You'll hardly find any laptop with RTX 4080 at this price, coming with more than 16GB. The only other option I've seen and posted here, is Omen 17.

You probably don';t know a very simple fact that Thunderbolt 4 is implemented over USB4 protocol, just like TB3 was on USB 3.2 Gen 2. So, technivally any TB4 port aslso supports USB4. In fact, TB4 needs cerain extra certifications over USB4. What made you think otherwise.
